The 1.0.x versions of the apps offer considerable utility today and lay the foundation for all manner of goodness to come. Going forward, new features and functionality will be heavily influenced by customer feedback.
(Yes, I’m ridiculously committed to our bird metaphor. Sorry about that.) One of the ways we’re gathering user feedback is through our newly created Customer Advisory Groups. We will set you up with a free license and support so you can pilot one or both apps in your environment. We also lock you in at our introductory pricing for the life of the products. All that we ask in return is that you share your experience and feedback so we can make the apps as awesome as possible.
After you download the apps from Splunkbase, you will need to request a trial license:
We’ve made this very easy. Fill out the form, click submit, and as if by magic you will receive an email containing a 30-day license key. Check out the dvvy Admin Guide and rqst Admin Guide for instructions on adding the license. We’ll be streamlining this process even further on the Splunk end in upcoming releases.
I’m a huge fan of simple and hopefully that is apparent with our licensing model. Each app is licensed per instance. It’s not tied to indexing volume, users, or any other dimension. Plus, when you license an app you can deploy one instance in production and one in non-production (i.e., dev, test, lab, etc.).
Our introductory pricing is available now through June 30, 2019. If you purchase an annual term license before this date, that price will be locked in for as long as you’re a customer.
We’ve also priced the apps very modestly. Candidly, our goal is simply to help as many customers as possible while covering our ongoing development efforts. Contact us today to request a quote.
